Weekly COVID-19 Testing Survey

Dear 9-R Families, Thank you for all that you are doing to support safe and healthy schools during this academic year. In order to further support in person learning, we are offering weekly COVID-19 testing through the school district.

ESSER III Fund Disbursement Survey

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused an undeniably difficult situation for many in our community and in our nation over the past 19 months. We know that many of our students will require a significant amount of attention to address academic learning loss, and social-emotional needs both due to the pandemic as well as other factors.

EMS Football & Volleyball Information

Fall sports are open to 7th or 8th grade EMS Eagles for the 2021/22 school year. Coach Hoffman is offering a Pre-Season Football Skills Camp starting July 13th for all EMS Eagles that are interested in playing football next year while Coach Peter is offering a Pre-Season Volleyball Skills Camp August 10, 11, & 12. On Monday, September 20, 2021, in a Special Board Meeting, the 9-R Board of Education interviewed three potential candidates for the vacant position in Director District D, selecting Katie Stewart as the appointed candidate.

FIRST LEGO League Robotics teams

We would like to launch new FIRST LEGO League Robotics teams in Durango 9-R at all grade levels. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to be engaged in fun, engaging, activities that grow their interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). Schools Closed Monday, September 27, 2021

Monday, September 27 is a Teacher Professional Development Day, and schools are closed. The school district is not offering enrichment programs. However, we are compiling a list of community partners who have programs, and will post those options soon.

Board of Education Special Meeting - September 20, 2021

The Board of Education has scheduled a special meeting on Monday September 20th at 5:30pm. The meeting will be held to interview potential board members for District D and to potentially appoint a new board member to this seat.
