Escalante Drama club presents: "Looking Glass Land". This delightful romp through Alice’s looking glass land retains all of the familiar characters and then introduces dozens of new ones: a baseball team, a gospel group called The Responsibilities, a train conductor, a peanut salesman, detectives, a Miss America pageant, star-struck tourists, plastic light saber wielding knights and much more. Shows are THREE NIGHTS ONLY! Please support our amazing Drama Team April 4, 5, and 6 at 7 PM in the Escalante cafetorium. Admission is free.

Escalante Middle School is excited to host Allison Ragsdale Photography on March 14th. All students will have their picture taken for School ID purposes. Purchasing pictures is not required, but if you would like to order pictures, see the flyer below or visit https://allisonragsdalephotography.com and click on "School Photos". Please remember, students are not allowed to wear hats or sunglasses in the photos. SMILE! It's Picture Day!

Do you or a family member currently have health insurance through Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program)?  If so, here’s what you need to know: Everyone with Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) health insurance will need to renew their coverage in the coming year.

Hello EMS families!

Just a reminder that TOMORROW WE HAVE TEAM PICTURES! Please refer to the previous email in this thread for details from the last update.

We had great contributions from the Calendar Fundraiser! We had quite a few turned in and quite a few that were not. If your wrestler participated in the fundraiser but did not turn it in last Friday, tomorrow will be a make-up day, and the final day to draw a winner for them.

As a reminder, if you have Facebook and have not yet joined the Escalante Middle School Wrestling Group, be sure to do so! We have the schedule of Tris and Tournaments pinned, as well as sharing other great info, photos, and videos.

Thank you for supporting us throughout the season. We are really excited for the A and B team tournament and feel like our teams both have a chance to do really well. I am attaching the tournament info and will send home brackets with the girls tonight at practice. Please read ALL of the info (I know there is a lot) and let me know what questions you have.

FLC Game Update:
The game on Monday 2/13 actually starts at 5, rather than 5:30! The girls will get in free with their name on a list at the gate. We would love for families to join us at the game too. In the case that students are attending alone,please pick them up around 6:45 if attending only the women's game and around 8:30 if they are attending the men's game too. Coaches will stay for both.

The Eagle Girls Basketball season kicks off Monday, December 12th. We have two more optional open gyms leading up to the season. From 6:45 - 7:45 AM on both Tuesday 12/6 and Thursday 12/8 open gym will focus on skills, drills, and games.

To be eligible to participate, students need to complete the registration checklist below and show up with clean, indoor basketball shoes, shorts, a t-shirt, and a water bottle.

Teams will be determined during the second week of practice right after Christmas Break. There are no cuts. We create teams according to skill level and where athletes will get the most playing time. Being on a team is a commitment and attendance at practice is expected. All teams will have both afternoon and morning practices throughout the season. Once games start, practices will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and sometimes Fridays with games on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
