Year End Celebration of Learning

We are opening our doors from 4:00 to 6:00 for students to perform, present, or demonstrate one aspect of high quality work. There will be an array of displays as our school is transformed into an interactive museum documenting much of the year’s work. In order to let our busses get out of the parking lot smoothly, we are asking parents and communities members to arrive no earlier than 4:00 and no later than 5:30 to walk through the school. Students who are able to stay should be picked up by 6:00, and we encourage parents to come for the entire event from 4:00 to 6:00 if your child is involved throughout the evening.

This is our first attempt at a school wide Celebration of Learning event, and we hope to make it a tradition in the future. Giving students an audience beyond their teacher promotes real-life career skills while increasing student motivation to craft excellent products. So far, there are at least 39 different displays, activities, or performances planned, so parents and community members will have a vast menu of options to choose to see. I look forward to celebrating student learning with you.

Sincerely,
Jeremy Voss
