A mousetrap powered vehicle is powered by the energy of of a wound-up mousetrap spring. The mousetrap's car's spring is attached to a long lever arm that turns the vehicle's drive axel as the spring is slowly released, propelling the vehicle.

The Challenge
Build a vehicle that is powered by a single moustrap. Enter the vehicle in either the distance or speed contest.

Project Assessment
Student projects will be assessed on a design rubric. Students will earn daily construction and teamwork grades. Additionally, students will win extra points for finishing first in the distance or speed contests. Starting Line
