Position: Aerospace Design Team for NASA

Qualifications:
  • Willingness and desire to build, construct and study aircraft, rockets and rovers.
  • Must be willing to make mistakes and learn from errors to improve design of machines.

Skills Needed:
  • Organizational Skills---keeping track of materials, design plans, project due dates
  • Independent work habits—focused and driven, time on task
  • Questioning Techniques—How can I make this go faster?
  • Willingness to improve and redesign
  • dentify cause and effect
  • Problem solving
  • Team Player: works well with others, helps motivate, support and encourage other engineers on team
  • Gives and receives constructive feedback
  • Respectful communication: tone of voice, choice of words, appropriate timing, disagreeing in appropriate manner
